Cloth Diaper Loans

by - February 19, 2018

For many families, the transition into cloth diapers is too expensive to manage at once. There are several wonderful cloth diaper loan programs designed to help ease the burden.

These organizations lend a set of diapers with the expectation that the receiving family will return them when no longer needed - either due to potty training or being able to build their own diaper stash.
The costs associated with the loans vary among the different organizations, but most are free or only require a small payment to cover the cost of shipping.
Most require proof of assistance like WIC or Food Stamps for eligibility, but some, like The Rebecca Foundation, is open to anyone that feels the need for help.

If you are interested in cloth diapering but don't know how you can afford the startup cost, please don't hesitate to apply for one of these! I often hear people rejecting help, because they feel that others need it more, but NOBODY should have to worry about the cost of diapers, and these organizations wouldn't exist without people borrowing from them.
