How Cloth Can Help with New Year's Resolutions

by - January 16, 2018

We're already 2 weeks into 2018! How are your New Year's Resolutions going? I recently read that 80% of resolutions fail by February, so I wanted to share some ways that cloth diapers can help you with 5 of the most common resolutions.

Resolution #1: Spend Less Money

Disposable diapers are expensive!! Switching to cloth can save you over $1,000 per kid throughout their diapering years.

Resolution #2: Live More Sustainably

With cloth diapers you're not only contributing less to landfills, but you're also reducing the impact the production of diapers has on the earth.

Resolution #3: Exercise

This solution may not be for everyone, but if you need a way to fit in a little exercise you can try hand washing your diapers. I've been hand washing for a few months now - out of necessity, not choice - and while it's not as bad as I'd imagined, it's definitely a bit of a workout!

Resolution #4: Learn a New Skill

If you're new to cloth this is an easy resolution to fulfill. It's so easy to get into cloth diapering as a hobby.
If you're already into cloth there are so many types of diapers you'll surely have no problem finding something new to learn about.

Resolution #5: Read More

There are countless blogs and online articles popping up all the time. Obviously that counts as reading. ;)
If you find yourself running low on reading material you can sign up to get an email every time I post something new. I've got a series coming up next month that's going to dive into the financial side of cloth diapering that you're not going to want to miss!

Let me know in the comments what your resolutions are this year and how you're doing with them!
